Places To Eat & Drink:
Vaujany has a wide range of places to eat and drink , more details on some of these are listed below:

The IDA / The V

The IDA restaurant in the V is the best place to eat in the village (which is why the wedding is there!).

The second best place is the bar menu at the V.

La MiDoRe

Best Coffee especially if you’re after a good flat white or latte!

Good option for breakfast or snacks and turns into Pizza takeaway at night.

La Table de La Fare

(Opposite Gondola)

Good salads, decent food, brilliant location.

Very much a locals bar with restaurant attached but outside area is large with brilliant views over the Waterfall.

Service can be very French !

Le Chalet Gourmand

(place de La Fare at top of the village - 2 escalators up from the square opposite the Gondola)

Good food from the region. Indoor and outdoor seating. Booking recommended.

Restaurant Les Cimes

(opposite Hotel de V)

We haven’t eaten here but it gets good reviews but menu is a little limited.

Amazing view down the valley.

Le Stou

(By the sports complex)

Take the lift next to the Gondola down to the bottom. Le Stou is by the sports complex (Ice Rink/Gym/Bowing Alley).

Has had much better reviews recently so we’ll be checking it out when we’re in Vaujany in June - might be a Friday night venue.

Le Vyonnais

(Below the Atou sports shop )

Snacks, Croque-Monsieur, Crepes etc.

Le Crepe Rit

(Opposite the V )

Excellent crepes, next to Boulangerie opposite the V

Bar le GG

Best bar/pub in the village.

Head through the tourist information building in the village centre (passed La Table de Fare). Up the steps and the pub is next to La MiDoRe on the way to the escalators which will take you to the top of the village.
